Families who are homeless or facing imminent homeless can call the Family Accommodation Information and Referral Service (FAIRS) on 1800 003 308. The Service is available from Monday to Friday 9am - 5pm.
Families will only have to make one call.
An FAIRS worker will case manage the family into accommodation services
An FAIRS worker will advocate with SAAP (Supported Accommodation Assistance Program) and Non-SAAP accommodation services
If no vacancies are available, an FAIRS worker will telephone the family when vacancies become available
Women and Children fleeing from domestic violence should phone the Domestic Crisis Service on 1300 782 200.
Young People (under 25) should contact Trace-a-Place on 1300 306 046.
Single Adults can call FAIRS on 1800 003 308 and will be referred to the appropriate service.
